Let’s sing Christmas in Rome
Once upon a time was my Irish friend’s wedding in Rome… We are in April 2019. I am alone walking towards Piazza Navona, when a facade suddenly catches my attention. I step back, I get in, I avoid the crowd, I see the organ. Immediately a concert project is born. I am in…. San Luigi dei…. Francesi! 🙂

Free participation to expenses
As a good expat, I import the anglo-saxon tradition of singalongs in Italy but also the French tradition of free concerts with a free participation to expenses. As you know, I am attached to giving free access to music 🙂

Chantons Noël à Rome
Il était une fois le mariage de mon amie irlandaise à Rome… Nous sommes en avril 2019. Je marche seule vers la Piazza Navona, et soudain une façade retient mon attention. Je reviens sur mes pas, je rentre, j’évite la foule, je vois l’orgue. Immédiatement un projet de concert naît en moi. Je suis à… Saint-Louis… des Français !
Deux ans et demi plus tard, je suis donc enCHANTée de vous convier à un Christmas singalong = un concert de Noël durant lequel je vous invite à chanter avec moi 🙂 à

En bonne expat, j’importe à Rome la tradition anglo-saxonne des « singalong » mais aussi celle française des concerts « au chapeau ». Je suis attachée, comme vous le savez, à laisser libre accès à la musique 🙂

Murat murmured…
An old saying goes that Un jour un mur mura Murat and Murat murmura… (murmured). So indeed on the night of October 30th, eve of Halloween… the organs and myself murmured some notes of fear and joy 😉 Nicolas and I were indeed delighted to have you embark on a journey « From fear to joy » in Murat’s Notre-Dame des Oliviers (in Cantal).
The word about the concert spread at the speed of light on social media (thanks a lot to Nathalie, Cathy, Marie-Noëlle, Lyne, i tutti amici who relay the info) yet I was away from my laptop, hence this late article.
Thank you all for this very warm welcome. Truth be told, I ended up being too warm in my St. Petersburg-like dress!

Un jour un mur mura Murat et… Murat murmura. Et le 30 octobre dernier, veille d’Halloween, les orgues et moi-même y avons murmuré de la peur et de la joie 😉 Nicolas et moi étions donc vraiment ravis de vous mener « De la Peur à la Joie… » en la collégiale Notre-Dame des Oliviers à Murat (Cantal).
L’info a circulé via les réseaux sociaux comme une traînée de poudre (merci à tous ceux qui relaient, Nathalie, Cathy, Marie-Noëlle, Lyne, i tutti amici) mais j’étais loin de mon site Internet… d’où cet article tardif.
Merci à vous tous pour cet accueil des plus chaleureux; et pour la petite histoire, j’ai finalement eu trop chaud dans ma robe digne d’un concert à Saint-Petersbourg!
